American Melanie Oudin took just 52 minutes to book her place in the second round with a 6-3 6-0 victory over Sorana Cirstea at the GDF Suez Open in Paris.
Despite being ranked 14 places below her Romanian opponent, the 18-year-old dominated and won five out of six break points to win her first tournament match of 2010.
